The {N} family

So, I am pretty sure that they are one of the most beautiful families... um, ever.

And how lucky am I that I get to call them my family!

I was lucky enough to have married Josh's twin brother 5 1/2 years ago and then was so excited to welcome Shannan to the family 2 years after that. And then add James to the mix and a girl just couldn't ask for anything more!

And who would have guessed that we both would end up with blonde babies... go figure!

{B+A}

I had the amazing opportunity of spending the afternoon with these guys. They are definitely one of the most fun couples I have ever hung out with. Full of laughs, full of smiles, and full of love for each other. I have known them for a few years so when Ashlee called me up to ask about engagement pictures I couldn't even contain my excitement for them!!

We started their photo shoot where their engagement story began... Balboas. Brad surprised Ashlee with her ring and long awaited proposal at one of their favorite spots. I was busting a gut as they told me the story of Brad's nerves and Ashlee's excitement. He was so nervous he ended up just handing her the ring box.... I love it!

They are also huge Detroit Lions fans so when Ash asked if they could bring their jerseys I was so pumped. I love it when people personalize their photos! So much fun and so much personality!

And of course... you cannot forget to take a gander at this girls ring.... Beautiful!! Brad picked it out all on his own... way to go!!

They are so sweet and I cannot wait for them to tie the knot in June!! Congrats you guys!!

The {D} family

I have known this family for a few years now and have many different opportunities to interact with them. They are such a fun family and so so so sweet! We had so much fun at our mini session and ended up with a plethora of fun pictures.

I first met this little guy when he was just a few weeks old. You can check him out here... can you believe how big he has gotten?! Time just flies! He was so sweet and smiley the whole time... I seriously just wanted to stick him in my pocket and take him home with me.

These two were hilarious. Sara wanted her picture taken the entire time and Andrew just wanted to love, hug, and squeeze his baby brother... like only big brothers can. All the kids were an absolute dream!

Thank you Matt and Emily for sharing your family with me. It was wonderful to see you both again and to see how much all the kids have grown... they just make me smile.

The {R} family

One of the things that I love most about my job is the opportunity I get to meet amazing families... and this one did not disappoint! I had a couple of conversations with Stacy before the shoot and the thing that she wanted the most was a picture where they all looked good at the same time... once again, this family did not disappoint!

Are they not absolutely beautiful?!

I like to try and get to know my families before our shoot and one of the things that Stacy told me about her family is how much love they have for each other. She told me how she loves that even though her children are in totally different age ranges they still love and have fun with each other. As soon as I met them I saw just what she was talking about. They loved each other so much and had a great time trying to make each other smile.

And this little guy... how can he not steal your heart!

Thank you Stacy and Brandon for sharing your beautiful family with me! And don't worry Stacy, there are plenty with all of you looking good at the same time ;)

I love me some girlies...

I had the most wonderful time in Dallas at the Secret Photography workshop. I met some wonderful people and learned some amazing things but most of all I got to photograph some of the MOST adorable kiddos!

There were 30 kids there for the afternoon and we got to just follow them around and allow them to be their sweet selves. I absolutely fell in love with these adorable girls... the clothes, the hair, the bracelets, the shoes... oh stop me, I really need a girl!

They were all so cute, so cooperative, and so endearing! Oh how I love little girls!

I heart faces: funny, silly faces

This is what happens when your child spends 3 out of the 4 years of his life having mom point the camera at him. He has come up with all kinds of faces so that he can show his independence while still doing what mom "asks" him to do. This face, along with sticking out his tongue, are among his favorites. When I saw this image I laughed and laughed because it is so him. When I read that I heart faces this week was about silly faces I knew this was the picture! I had to much fun with this family that I just had to go back for more. Look at his cheeks... don't you just want to kiss them!

They were so sweet, so much fun and LOVED their baby more than anything!

The {C} family

I had the amazing opportunity of not only photographing this beautiful family but attending their sealing in the Las Vegas, Nevada temple.  It was so amazing and such an honor to be involved.  They are one of the sweetest families I have ever met.  They all love each other so much and the big kids LOVE baby Hunter more than anything... they both were dying to hold him in the pictures.

As you can see Savannah has the most beautiful red hair, Austin has some adorable freckles and Hunter... well look at those cheeks!

And mom and dad... can't you just see the love.  So sweet.

Beach Bums

I had so much fun snapping some photos of my cute nieces and nephews in California.  They all have such fun personalities that bring so much life to our family.

Chandler is the oldest and amazes me every day.  He spent the vacation surfing, checking out the girls, loving the little cousins and kicking all of our butts in scum.

Miss Molly is full of life, sweetness, and personality.  I had so much fun with her because she LOVES to pose and is really good at it.  She just cracked me up with how girl she is... I need one of those!

 

And can't forget one of mine.  Mr Cade... this is his "mom I am done with the camera in my face" look.  

There are lots more cute nieces and nephews, 18 to be exact, that will also make an appearance as I continue to dig through all of our beach pictures.  Love you guys! 

Taylor

This little girl has stolen my husbands heart.  We are good friends with her family and ever since day one Jared has fallen in love with her and her sisters.  Taylor is not one to freely give hugs and loves but Jared quickly got her to warm up and now she loves to snuggle with him.  Her mom and I are already arranging the marriage between her and my little Beckam.

She is such a doll and full of so much spunk and personality.  She loved the dogs at the park but her mom... not so much.  I had to be the brave one to take her to see the BIG, black, mean looking dogs that were intriguing to her from afar but once close up... not a good idea.  Needless to say, Taylor did not think I was very nice once I took her to see the dogs.

 

She was still was such a good sport and loved to show off her adorable skirt and bracelet.  Thanks guys, I had fun spending a little "girl time" with you!

Baby Maddux

Is he not one of the most precious things you have ever seen!  I so loved giving him loves, hugs, kisses, and snapping his picture.  Even if he did not want to sleep for us!

One of my very most favorite things about him were his hands and feet.  They did not look like they belonged on such a tiny baby... he is going to be quite the athlete!  Thanks again you guys!

The {O} family

I got to hang out with this beautiful family this weekend.  They made cold, rainy Rexburg even more fun!  Love you guys!!  More to come...

Ella

I have been dying to shoot some pictures of this little girl for quite some time.  She is so sweet and lovable... and those eyes... don't you just love those eyes!!

She will be turning 1 soon and what do 1-year-olds love more than anything... 

rocks!  It made me laugh that she was so entertained with the rocks. 

And you can't forget the ice cream!  She loved the treat but wanted her mom to hold it for her most of the time.  She was also not too thrilled about getting messy... such a girl... I love it!

She is a total doll.  I had so much fun with you guys!  Enjoy!

Class of 2009- Madison

Madison will be graduating in June and going up to Provo, Utah for school.  Watch out provo boys... she is not only beautiful but smart and funny.

She told me at the beginning that she "just isn't photogenic"  I think that these prove her WAY wrong... isn't she beautiful! 

I had so much fun with this cute girl, she was even brave enough to put on a long sleeve shirt in 104 degree weather.  Thanks Maddy, you will be amazing!

The {T} family

I had so much fun with this cute family!!  We have been trying to get pictures organized for a while now and when I saw them I knew it was well worth the wait.  Aren't they beautiful!?
